What is Ozone?
Ozone is a gas made up of three oxygen atoms (O₃). In nature, Ozone protects us from harmful UV rays. Tropospheric ozone is the component of air pollution that is actually measured, and is not the majority of overall air pollution. In medical settings, ozone is a purified form of oxygen, and is used therapeutically to support healing and improve oxygenation in the body.
Is Ozone Dangerous and Toxic?
No, medical ozone and tropospheric ozone are not the same. Tropospheric ozone, often linked to smog, is used as an indicator because it’s easy and cost-effective to measure, correlating with overall pollution levels. Medical ozone is pure and carefully controlled for therapeutic use. It might irritate the lungs and is there for carefully utilized.
How much does the procedure cost?

Are there any contraindications to ozone therapy?
Ozone has been shown to be very safe. The following instances may be contraindications: alcohol intoxication, drug impairment, recent heart attack, active bleeding, untreated thrombocytopenia, pregnancy, and G6PD deficiency.
